'Ender's Game' teen Asa Butterfield talks working with Harrison Ford

Asa Butterfield prepares for an alien invasion alongside Harrison Ford and Ben Kingsley in the sci-fi drama "Ender's Game."

The film, based on the Orson Scott Card novel by the same name, focuses on Butterfield's character Andrew "Ender" Wiggin, who is extremely gifted and is sent to an advanced military school to prepare for a massive alien invasion. The sci-fi flick, which also co-stars Hailee Steinfeld, is scheduled to hit theaters on Nov. 1.

OTRC.com talked with Butterfield, 16, about his experience filming a majority of the film against a green screen and what it was like working with legendary actors such as Ford and Kingsley.

Watch Butterfield's interview with OTRC.com above and check out three highlights from the interview below.

1. How tricky was making this film against a green screen?

"I've never worked on a film with this much green screen. It's different because you don't have anything to react off of, you might have another actor there but that is it. You really just have to use your imagination and let it run free and convince yourself that you're seeing this massive spaceship flying over your shoulder."

2. How much stunt-wise did you get to do with this film?

"Pretty much all my stunts I did. There was a lot of preparation and boot camp and preparing to go up on the wires and spending long periods of time up there just to get used to it. But, it's hard work and we did have a lot of fun doing it."

3. What was it like working with Harrison Ford and Ben Kingsley?

"It's amazing, the fact that I've been able to work with them and Sir Ben twice at such a young age as well, it's all mind-blowing and I'm so privileged. There are often times when you're sitting in the room with them, let alone in a scene with them, and you can just observe them and think about the things that they do and they've come and take that into your next project."
