Emma Watson stopped at airport, mistaken for a child
At 22, Emma Watson is still having a little trouble looking her age, according to a recent incident that actress Tweeted about.
The former "Harry Potter" franchise star wrote about an airport security agent who was reviewing her passport and thought she was a minor.
"Passport control:'unaccompanied minor?' Me:'sorry?' Passport control:'where is ur guardian?' Me:'I'm 22!!!!!!!' #neverwearingabackpackagain," the actress wrote on December 22.
Watson later added, "The really sad thing is that this is not the first time this has happened."
The British actress, who recently appeared in "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," has an edgier role in the upcoming film "The Bling Ring."
The movie is based on the true story of a group of celebrity-obsessed teens who broke into the homes of several stars such as Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton. Watson said she watched a lot of Kim Kardashian's reality shows to prep for the role.
The actress plays a burglar named Nicki, which is not the name of any of the real-life suspects, although her character is supposed to be based on one of them.
The film is directed by Sofia Coppola. It began filming in March 2011 and wrapped in late April 2011. The movie is set for release in 2013 and also stars Leslie Mann, who portrays Nicki's mother, Kirsten Dunst, Bush singer Gavin Rossdale and Taissa Farmiga, the younger sister of actress Vera Farmiga, who is also known for her role as Violet Harmon in the FX series "American Horror Story."
Watson appears on the February cover of Marie Claire's UK edition, which is currently on sale. In an interview with the magazine she said she feels a little bit more settled as a person."Now I feel a lot more settled in who I am and what I think and how I want to do things," Watson told the magazine. "And because I feel good about what I'm doing, I don't need anyone else to say whether they think it's good or not."
