Emma Stone gets love letter video from Jim Carrey - What do you think?
Jim Carrey publicly declared his love for actress Emma Stone in a video posted on his official website on Wednesday.
The 49-year-old star looked right at the camera and said, "Emma, I think you're all the way beautiful. Not just pretty, but smart and kind-hearted. And if I were a lot younger, I would marry you."
The actress, who is 22, has cemented herself as the summer's hottest stars, appearing opposite Ryan Gosling in "Crazy, Stupid, Love," dumping Justin Timberlake in "Friends with Benefits" and starring in the movie adaptation of the best-selling novel "The Help."
She will also play Peter Parker's blonde love interest Gwen Stacy in "The Amazing Spider-Man," opposite her rumored boyfriend, "The Social Network" actor Andrew Garfield. Stone is rumored to be dating Garfield but the two have not commented on the nature of their relationship. The actress has also had roles in films like "Zombieland," Easy A," "The House Bunny" and "Superbad."
Carrey went on to say in the video, "We would have chubby little freckle-faced kids, we'd laugh all day long, go camping and play Yahtzee. Tell ghost stories by the fire."
"And the sex..." he said before he trailed off and appeared lost in thought. "And every day, for the rest of your life, you would thank God that I was the appropriate age for you."
"But I'm not. I'm 49," Carey said before giving away some of his personal examples of his age. "I have lines on my face, sometimes a little gray in my beard, and it takes me a little bit longer to pee than it used to."
The comedian wraps up the video by saying "I think you're pretty special. I wish you continued success and artistic fulfillment. But most of all, I wish you love and contentment."
Carrey then mouths the words "I love you. I do" when his lip begins to quiver before the video ends.
Stone and her spokespeople had no immediate comment to OnTheRedCarpet.com
Carrey Tweeted on Thursday, "Yes, my msg to Emma Stone was a comedy routine and the funniest part is that everything i said is tru."
The actor Tweeted that traffic to his site has increased so much that it crashed. It is currently back online.
