Emma Stone and mom to get tattoos of bird feet designed by Paul McCartney
Stone, 21, is best known for her role in the films Superbad and the recently-released comedy Easy A. She was recently confirmed to play Gwen Stacy, a love interest of Peter Parker, in the new Spider-Man film."We've never gotten tattoos before and I probably never will again," Stone said on The Late Show with David Letterman on Thursday.
"Her favorite song is 'Blackbird' by Paul McCartney, and it's my favorite song as well," she said. "Two years ago ... she got diagnosed with breast cancer and she's out of the woods now, which is amazing. I wrote a letter to Paul McCartney asking him if he would draw two little bird feet, because he wrote the song, and yesterday he sent them to me. Blackbird feet."
Stone met the 68-year-old former Beatles member when she visited his house with Woody Harrelson, with whom she starred in the movie Zombieland. She said McCartney prepared veggie burgers for them.
"It was so good," she said. "We just kinda sat around and I was in a funk - I couldn't believe I was there with Paul McCartney."
Stone also said she is set to host Saturday Night Live this week, which she called "The dream of my life."
