Ellen DeGeneres is going to just keep swimming, just keep swimming ... right back into theaters.

"Finding Dory," the anticipated sequel to the 2003 Disney-Pixar animated film "Finding Nemo," is set to hit theaters on Nov. 25, 2015 and will see the comedienne and talk show host reprise her role as the blue tang fish with short-term memory loss.

A Christmas ad featuring Ellen DeGeneres has upset the conservative group One Million Moms.

The ad features the comedian, who was named as the spokesperson for jcpenney in February, attempting to talk elves into making extra gifts for a holiday promotion by the department store. The commercial can be viewed below.

Ellen DeGeneres took a crack at being Sofia Vergara for Halloween.

Ellen DeGeneres is gearing up to receive a huge honor.

DeGeneres, 54, is being awarded the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor by The Kennedy Center on Monday, October 22 in Washington. The show will be broadcast on October 30 on PBS stations.

Nolan Gould, who portrays the dimwitted Luke Dunphy on "Modern Family," told Ellen DeGeneres that he has already graduated from high school.

"All this summer I did a lot of studying," Gould said on "Ellen" on October 8. "[I] took an exam and tested out of high school, and hopefully I will go on to do some online community college classes."

Amy Poehler opened up about motherhood with Ellen DeGeneres on Thursday, explaining that she can only have so much control over her two sons.

"They are boys, so they're kind of crazy," Poehler said on "Ellen" on September 20. "Mothers come over with daughters and we have play dates. My house is a little crazy - everyone's kind of running around, jumping off furniture. They'll bring their daughters over and the daughters will be like, 'Should we sit in the corner and cooperate?' My guys are like, 'I made chocolate soup.' They will just make dirt soup. And the girls are making like a birdhouse out of organic materials. It's different."

Ellen DeGeneres is reportedly in talks to reprise her character Dory in a "Finding Nemo" sequel.

DeGeneres voiced the forgetful blue tang fish in the original 2003 Disney Pixar film. According to the Hollywood Reporter, DeGeneres will most likely return for "Finding Nemo 2."

Ellen DeGeneres opened up on her show on Wednesday about the anti-gay group One Million Moms and about California overturning Proposition 8, legislature which banned same-sex marriage in the state.

"There was some good news for marriage equality in California yesterday," DeGeneres said on "Ellen" on February 8. "I'm happy to say that yesterday an appeals court ruled that Prop 8 was unconstitutional. I'm sure the people who oppose it will try to appeal it - but it's a step in the right direction. So I'm happy."
