Elizabeth Olsen says her new psychological thriller "Silent House" is "more intelligent" than slasher films.

"What's great is that it's a psychological thriller, but it has all the genres that you would hope to have in a horror film," Olsen said in an interview provided by Open Roads Films. "I think it blends the best of both worlds, where it doesn't have that - where sometimes in horror stories, you have that slasher film where like you slice and dice them. This is a little bit more intelligent, so you get that same adrenaline going throughout the movie, but the actual end result is a psychological thriller, so there are lots of twists and turns."
