In her native country of Italy, Elisabetta Canalis is famous for being a television personality and model. In America, the former "Dancing With The Stars" contestant is likely best known for dating George Clooney.

While Canalis mostly kept quiet about her time with Clooney while on "Dancing With The Stars" she recently offered some details about their relationship in a new book by Italian journalist Bruno Vespa called "This Love."

Elisabetta Canalis has had a rough week after being booted off of "Dancing With The Stars" and being accused of sending her ex-boyfriend George Clooney nasty test messages.

But the "Ides of March" actor stood up for Canalis, denying reports that she had lashed out at him for moving on with his new girlfriend, Stacy Keibler.

Elisabetta Canalis says performing on "Dancing With The Stars" was a "gift."

On Tuesday, the 32-year-old Italian actress and model, also known as George Clooney's ex-girlfriend, and partner Val Chmerkovskiy became the second pair to be eliminated from the 13th season of the ABC ballroom dancing show.
