Dwayne Johnson, 'The Rock,' returns to WrestleMania
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is set to return to the wrestling arena and will host WrestleMania XXVII on April 3 in Atlanta.
The 38-year-old, who stars in the new "Fast and the Furious" film "Fast Five," did not specify if he plans to compete in the popular professional wrestling pay-per-view event, produced by World Wrestling Entertainment. Johnson left wrestling in 2004 to concentrate on his acting career but has made occasional appearances on WWE programs throughout the past few years.
"The Rock has come back to Wrestlemania. The most electrifying man in all of entertainment hosting the most electrifying event in all of entertainment," Johnson said in a video message, before raising his right eyebrow, his signature gesture known as "the People's Eyebrow."
Johnson has starred in films such as "The Scorpion King," "Tooth Fairy" and "Faster." He recently finished filming "Fast Five" and is currently shooting the movie "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" and is also set to star in "Arabian Nights" as Sinbad.
