Dolly Parton said she had an emotional reaction to Jennifer Hudson performing "I Will Always Love You" in tribute to the late Whitney Houston at the Grammys on February 12.
Parton wrote and originally performed "I Will Always Love You" in 1974 for her 13th studio album "Jolene." She later rerecorded the song in 1982 when it was included on the soundtrack of the film "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas," starring Parton and Burt Reynolds.
Dolly Parton is clearing up some rumors about her love life.
The legendary singer is featured in an interview for "Nightline" on Thursday, November 26, and responded to gay rumors, talked about her love life and Whitney Houston. The singer is promoting her new motivational memoir "Dream More" due out on November 27.
Keke Palmer told OnTheRedCarpet.com that her new "Joyful Noise" is incredibly relatable and she got to "grow up" with her audience.
The comedy-musical centers around a small town in Georgia that's facing hard times, leaving many people counting on their local church choir to lift their spirits. The choir aims to win the National Joyful Noise Competition and they have the singing talents to do just that. However, problems arise when the two instructors, G.G. Sparrow (Dolly Parton) and Vi Rose (Queen Latifah), disagree with each other's methods, creating friction for the group. The friction only increases when Sparrow's grandson Randy Garrity (Jeremy Jordon) shows interest in Rose's daughter Olivia Hill (Keke Palmer).

As Dolly Parton is set to return back to the big screen in "Joyful Noise" the country music legend is sticking for another star who has struggled a bit in the spotlight, her goddaughter Miley Cyrus.
Parton, who gave an interview with Parade magazine in late December to promote her upcoming film, thinks the media and public is judging Cyrus a little too harshly.
Dolly Parton released her 43rd studio album "Better Day" on June 28 and told OnTheRedCarpet.com about the themes, the costumes and her plans for the 4th of July.
"There are a variety of songs in the CD that are just about problems and heartache and other things and how you rise above it and how it's going to be when you overcome the obstacles, like when the clouds roll away from your door - you're gonna shine like the sun, that sort of thing," Parton told OnTheRedCarpet.com of the album.
