Dina Manzo talks 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' feud
"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" are set for an explosive reunion on Sunday with Caroline Manzo and Teresa Giudice coming to blows over Giudice's book and actions against Manzo's family. However, former cast member Dina Manzo, who is the sister of Caroline, told her Twitter followers on Thursday, "I didn't take sides."
Dina Manzo was one of the original cast members of the series who left after the show's second season. In recent previews of the reunion special, Giudice implies that Dina Manzo was not on speaking terms with her sister Caroline over her treatment of Giudice.
"No wonder why Dina doesn't even want to speak with you," Giudice tells Caroline Manzo in a clip from the reunion special, which can be seen below. "You back stabbed her."
However, Dina Manzo denies that she has taken sides in the feud. "Eww getting some MEAN tweets," Manzo wrote on Thursday. "I didn't take sides, don't assume~didn't even know they were not getting along until recently~I'm not involved."
On Friday, Dina Manzo responded to her followers once again about the alleged rift between herself and sister Caroline. "If I get one more tweet about this I may scream," Dina Manzo wrote. "TERESA HAD NO IMPACT ON MY RELATIONSHIP WITH ANYONE. Give it a rest tweeple it's annoying."
The feud between Giudice and Caroline Manzo escalated recently after the release of Giudice's latest cookbook "Fabulicious!" Giudice wrote Manzo is only "one-sixteenth Italian" and compared her cooking to the Olive Garden. Fellow cast member Jacqueline Laurita, who is Manzo's sister-in-law, reportedly refused to appear on the reunion special because of her fight with Giudice.
Since Dina Manzo left "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" she began hosting her own show called "Dina's Party" on HGTV.
The reunion special for "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" is set to air on Sunday, October 16 on Bravo at 10 p.m. Check out a preview clip from the show below.
