'Die Hard 5' nabs director Noam Murro - what do you think?
Yippee-ki-yay! "Die Hard 5" is closer to becoming a reality, according to Deadline.com, which reports that the project has nabbed director Noam Murro for the fifth franchise in the action saga.
The website also reports that Bruce Willis is expected to reprise the role of John McClane, though he still has to sign a deal with the studio. Audiences last saw the character in the 2007 film "Live Free or Die Hard," which grossed $383.5 million worldwide.
Murro's previous film credit is the Sarah Jessica Parker film "Smart People."
"I take a certain amount of pride in being part of that [mythology] and the fact that I still get to do it," Bruce Willis told MTV back in February 2010 about his role in the "Die Hard" franchise. "The John McClane that exists is only in film and in people's minds. And it continues to grow, that mythology continues to grow."
