Dianna Agron of 'Glee' wears floral print dress to Nylon party, graces cover of magazine ... and pink cake (Photos, Poll)
Dianna Agron, who plays Quinn Fabray on "Glee," wore a knee-length, colorful, floral print Mary Katrantzou dress with cap sleeves from the designer's Fall 2011 collection to Nylon magazine's recent dinner party to celebrate its January 2012 issue, which features the actress on the cover.
The 25-year-old completed the look with black leather crochet lace up booties by Rodarte for Opening Ceremony, a jeweled headband and maroon-colored nail polish. Event promotors described Agron as "newly single." The actress is said to have recently split with "Captain America: The First Avenger" actor Sebastian Stan after several months of dating, Us Weekly magazine reported, although the two have not commented.
Shenae Grimes, Gillian Zinser and Trevor Donovan of the CW show "90210" also attended the event, which was co-sponsored by the fashion label Express and held at the Writer's Room in Los Angeles on Wednesday, December 7.
Agron also posed for photos next to a cake that featured an edible picture of the magazine cover on a pink fondant background (see above).
In her magazine interview, she talked about the future of her character on "Glee," one of the FOX network's most successful shows, saying: "Essentially, I'm a senior, so, I'll probably graduate this year."
Series co-creator Ryan Murphy faced controversy this past summer when it was revealed cast members Lea Michele, Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith, who play high school seniors and glee club members, might leave the musical comedy series at the end of the current third season. He later told OnTheRedCarpet.com: "I don't think you'll say goodbye, but some of them will graduate." Michele said in September that "Glee" "might be saying goodbye to some people," while "a lot of other characters" are set to be involved in the show in 2012. The series has already introduced new actors.
Agron also told Nylon that "Glee" producers almost scrapped her character before the show aired, adding that the cast director asked her to change her look after seeing her audition.
"I went in and read, and they called me back two days later, and he told me to come back and straighten my hair, and wear something sexy," she said. "I was like, 'First of all, what is ... 'sexy?' I went to like, a CVS, and bought a straightener and straightened it at Starbucks."
