Demi Moore skips daughter Tallulah Willis' debutante ball
Demi Moore was noticeably absent from her daughter Tallulah's debutante ball in Paris on Saturday night.
17-year-old Tallulah, who is Bruce Willis and Moore's youngest daughter, debuted as a member of high society at Le Bal des Debutantes at the Hotel Crillon in Paris.
Her sisters Rumer, 23, Scout, 20, and their father Bruce Willis attended the event, which debuted 23 young women from 13 countries, including Rumer, Danielle Riley Keough, Georgiana Marriott and Andi McDowells's daughter Sarah Margaret Qualley.
Le Bal des Debutantes began in 1957 and re-launched in 1991 as a fundraiser, this year benefitting the Feed Foundation.
Rumer posted a Twitpic photo of her and her sisters at the event (posted above), showing some skin in a silver gown with a plunging neckline. Her sister Tallulah wore a black and silver sequined Lanvin gown while Scout, who made her debut at the event in 2008, wore a flutter-sleeve red dress.
Willis and his daughters celebrated Thanksgiving in Paris. The 56-year-old actor announced in October that he is expecting his fourth child with his new wife Emma Heming.
Meanwhile, Moore announced that she plans to end her marriage to Ashton Kutcher earlier in the month, following reports about his alleged infidelity.
The actress made her announcement in a statement to OnTheRedCarpet.com and other press outlets on Thursday, November 17, days after she celebrated her 49th birthday.
"It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton," she said. "As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life... This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation."
It is unclear if she or Kutcher have filed divorce papers as of yet.
"I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi," Kutcher, 33, said on his Twitter page. "Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK."
The "Two and a Half Men" actor married Moore in September 2005 after dating for about two years. The actress was previously married to Willis, father of her three children, and to singer Freddie Moore.
