Demi Moore returns to L.A. after reported rehab stint, vacation
Demi Moore recently returned to Los Angeles after reportedly undergoing treatment at a rehab center in Utah and taking a Caribbean vacation following her split from Ashton Kutcher.
The 49-year-old actress, who still retains her Twitter username mrskutcher, was on Sunday night photographed leaving a private jet, wearing an oversized white sweater, shorts and thick-framed glasses, as seen on TMZ.
She then entered a vehicle and was driven away, E! Online reported. She had been vacationing in the Turks and Caicos Islands in recent weeks, it said. Her spokesperson had no immediate comment.
This marked the first time the actress had been photographed in public following her hospitalization in January. She has not spoken about her ordeal. She was said to have completed a rehab stint at the famed Cirque Lodge in Sundance, Utah earlier this month. Her spokesperson said the actress, who appeared frail in photos last year, was dealing with exhaustion, while several reports said she was seeking treatment for an addiction to undisclosed substances and an eating disorder.
Moore entered the rehab center a week after she was rushed to a Los Angeles medical facility on January 23. A censored recording of a shocking 911 call made from her home prior to her hospitalization was released to the media (listen to it here).
Moore announced in November that she had decided to end her six-year marriage to Kutcher, 34. The two have not yet filed divorce papers.
Her personal turmoil prompted her to drop out of the film "Lovelace." She was set to play feminist activist Gloria Steinem in the movie, which is about the life of porn star Linda Lovelace. A spokesperson for the film told OnTheRedCarpet.com that Sarah Jessica Parker would take Moore's place.
