Entertainment News: dean cain
Dean Cain is likely best known for playing Clark Kent in the 1990s series "Lois & Clark: the New Adventures of Superman," but with his new role on the Hallmark Channel television movie, he'll be taking on a different kind of hero.
Cain plays Army Colonel Griff Carson, a U.S. solider who returns from Germany on a two-month leave. His wife Janet, played by Kristy Swanson, assigns him to help her run her cupcake shop hoping to keep him busy while on leave. Griff attempts to take a military approach to the business and soon runs into trouble.
Red Hot Right Now
Dean Cain, best known for playing Clark Kent in the 1990s series "Lois & Clark: the New Adventures of Superman," has turned to reality TV to find the girl of his dreams.
Okay, not really. But the 45-year-old actor is one of the celebrity cast members on the FOX summer dating series "The Choice," which premieres on Thursday, June 7 at 9 p.m. ET. Cain joins the likes of Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and DJ Pauly D of MTV reality show "Jersey Shore," pop star Joe Jonas, Rob Kardashian and "American Idol" season 3 winner Taylor Hicks.
Dean Cain has nothing but nice things to say Henry Cavill, who will fill his old shoes, or boots, as the new Superman in an upcoming reboot.
