David Arquette talks 'DWTS' week 7, says everything now is 'icing on the cake'
David Arquette says he's already accomplished what he came to do on week 7 of "Dancing with the Stars."
The 40-year-old actor and his partner Kym Johnson, 35, received a score of 24 out of 30 from the judges for their spooky Cha-Cha-Cha in week 7 of ABC's hit celebrity ballroom dancing series (read recap). The pair earned a score placing them in the bottom three, tied with Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
"I feel like I've already accomplished what I came here to do," Arquette told OnTheRedCarpet.com. "I wanted to learn how to dance; I had a great time dancing with Kym. I've wanted to entertain people. I've wanted to sort of challenge myself and get to know myself better, and really sort of you know, grow inside as well, and I feel like I've done all those things - so all of this is just icing on the cake for me."
The six couples were split into teams of three to perform two group dances, and were a part of either "Team Tango" or "Team Paso Doble." Arquette, Nancy Grace and J.R. Martinez scored 23 for their team Tango, and Ricki Lake, Hope Solo and Rob Kardashian scored a 26 for their team Paso Doble.
"I feel like I have the best teacher and partner and we have a lot of fun - it's been an amazing experience," Arquette added.
The six remaining pairs return on Tuesday, November 2 for an elimination episode where the seventh couple is expected to be sent packing.check for local TV listings).
