Darren Criss and Jennie Garth help Toys for Tots - See video
Darren Criss of "Glee" fame and Jennie Garth of "Beverly Hills, 90210" both lent a helping hand to launch eBay's pop-up shop called "Toy Box" in Manhattan to benefit the Toys for Tots charity.
Criss gave a free concert, despite the rainy weather in New York City, on December 9 for thousands of fans at Toy Box. Criss played "White Christmas," Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree, "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)" and "Christmas Don't Be Late" on an acoustic guitar for the audience.
Garth appeared at the pop-up shop on December 6. The store gives shoppers an opportunity to give a toy to the charity and also buy toys for their own children. The auction website matched all donations from consumers to Toys for Tots.
Criss, 25, first partnered with Toys for Tots two years ago, according to CBSNews.com.
"I played a show at The Roxy and I thought it would be fun to do a Christmas show. And we turned it into a Toys for Tots thing," the actor told the news outlet.
