Daniel Radcliffe calls 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2' a 'war film' (Video)

Daniel Radcliffe knows that 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1' was a bit on the slow side for some disappointed fans."Part 1 is comparatively kind of like a slow burning drama," the actor said in an interview provided by Warner Bros. Pictures. "(Part 2) is an all-out action film with moments of intense emotional drama. " In the final installment of the "Harry Potter" franchise, Harry Potter and his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger return to Hogwarts to find and destroy Voldemort's final horcruxes, which contain fragments of his soul. By doing so, they hope to render him mortal, so that they can finally kill him. But when Voldemort finds out about their mission and that is when the action heats up. "It's a heist movie that turns into a war film and it's pretty fantastic," Radcliffe said. "I mean I was pretty pleased and I'm a harsh judge of these films but I was very, very pleased with it. " The actor, who has played the beloved literary character of Harry Potter for the past 10 years, said that there was some challenging moments for him as an actor. Finding his character's "emotional depth," for example. "I think I got that to an extent, particularly towards the end, although I'll never be completely happy with my performance but I enjoyed it as much as I could. I was more pleased than I thought I would be. " Of his ten-year experience in the "Harry Potter" franchise, Radcliffe says he will take away with him "the memories of my time on the set and with those friends and friendships that will last the rest of my life.
