Daniel Craig hosts 'Saturday Night Live,' spoofs 'Bond' - What did you think? (Poll)
Daniel Craig made his debut as the host of "Saturday Night Live" on October 6 and the English actor wasn't afraid to spoof his biggest role as spy James Bond.
Craig made fun of his Bond persona several times throughout the show including in his monologue with a mock "In Memoriam" segment dedicated to all the characters he's killed in films.
Craig also appeared as Bond during a fake ad promoting the 50th anniversary of a James Bond DVD collection which included a segment on "forgotten" Bond girls like an "Annie Hall"-era Diane Keaton, Ellen DeGeneres, Jodie Foster and a 1980s Molly Ringwald.
Craig appeared with his fake Bond girls Lea Michele (played by Nasim Pedrad) and Penny Marshall (Fred Armisen).
The 44-year-old actor also got to shed his British accent when he played a New York City construction worker who makes confusing catcalls.
Craig will be seen again as James Bond when the latest film "Skyfall" hits theaters on November 9. "Skyfall" is directed by Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes. Filming took place in Turkey as well as Scotland, England and Shanghai, China. It is the third franchise film for Craig, who played James Bond in the films "Casino Royale" and "Quantum of Solace."
The show also had a guest appearance by Big Bird during the "Weekend Update" segment where addressed he comments Mitt Romney made about PBS and liking Big Bird during the first presidential debate.
"Saturday Night Live" also spoofed the presidential debate during the opening sketch that blamed Barack Obama's performance at the debate with forgetting his anniversary president to Michelle Obama and the high altitude in Denver, Colorado.
The musical guest for the night was Muse who sang their singles "Madness" and "Panic Station."
Next Week Christina Applegate will return as host of "Saturday Night Live" for her second time with musical guest Passion Pit.
