Danica McKellar, aka Winnie Cooper, happy about post-baby cup size

Danica McKellar, best known as Winnie Cooper from the 1980s show "The Wonder Years", says she is happy about her post-baby body and larger cup size following the birth of son Draco in September and compared her delivery to solving a math problem.

The 35-year-old actress and author said she delivered the child without an epidural and after being in labor for about 36 hours.

"I've wanted boobs since I was 10 years old and finally got 'em," McKellar said on the television show "Access Hollywood" recently, wearing a cleavage-baring, bright red dress.

"It was one of those challenges that I got to overcome," she said about her delivery. "You just push through and believe in yourself. It's all the same stuff I talk about in my math books. As I was in there in labor, I was going, 'Okay, just keep going, what do you tell your girls, what do you tell your readers? Overcome challenges. You can do it. We're all stronger than we think we are."

McKellar and Draco's father, husband Mike Verta, married in March 2009. McKellar told People magazine she gained 40 pounds during her pregnancy and has lost 20 since the birth.

"I would crave whatever somebody was talking about," she said. "No matter what food it was. If somebody brought up lasagna, I would really want lasagna. Even liver and onions! It didn't matter. All food sounded good. I was an omni-craver!"

McKellar rose to fame in the late 1980s when she played the childhood crush of Kevin Arnold in the coming-of-age 1960s era drama series "The Wonder Years". In recent years, she appeared on contemporary sitcoms such as "How I Met Your Mother" and "The Big Bang Theory."

McKellar still acts occasionally and has penned several math books, including "Math Doesn't Suck: How to Survive Middle-School Math Without Losing Your Mind or Breaking a Nail" and her most recent publication, "Hot X: Algebra Exposed".
