'Dancing With The Stars: All-Stars': Sabrina Bryan wins 13th spot
Sabrina Bryan has won the viewers' choice vote to become the 13th contestant on "Dancing With The Stars: All-Stars."
It was announced on Monday, Aug. 27, that the actress, who appeared in the Disney Channel's "Cheetah Girls" films and competed on "Dancing With The Stars" season 5, earned the most fan votes online to take the coveted spot. She beat out Carson Kressley of "Queer Eye" fame, who appeared on season 13, and fellow Disney Channel actor Kyle Massey, who competed on season 11.
The other competitors, who were announced in July, are Bristol Palin, Helio Castroneves, Kelly Monaco, Shawn Johnson, Apolo Anton Ohno, Melissa Rycroft, Kirstie Alley, Drew Lachey, Gilles Marini, Emmitt Smith, Pamela Anderson and Joey Fatone.
"I am so excited. I'm getting teary eyed just right now," Bryan said on Monday on the ABC show "Good Morning America," when the results were revealed. "It was a fight ... we all three really wanted it. I'm the lucky one with some amazing, incredible fans that have really stuck behind me."
Bryan, 27, will dance with professional partner Louis van Amstel.
In season 5 of "Dancing With the Stars," Bryan and partner Mark Ballas were heavily favored to win, but they were eliminated in week six, stunning viewers and judges.
The new season is the "Dancing With The Stars" franchise's 15th installment and is set to premiere on Monday, Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
