DMX suffers concussion in ATV accident, says he's 'GOOD'
Rapper DMX says he is "good" after he suffered a concussion as a result of an accident with an all-terrain vehicle near his home in South Carolina and provided some photographic evidence.
The 41-year-old, whose real name is Earl Simmons, had said that he flipped the ATV over while riding downhill on Saturday and that he landed on his butt. He was later hospitalized, TMZ and other major outlets reported.
"IM GOOD!" he alongside a TMZ-watermarked photo of himself lying in a hospital bed, posted on his Instagram account.
DMX is known for his fondness for ATVs and street bikes and features several stunts in the music video for his 1998 single "Ruff Ryders Anthem."
The rapper was also hospitalized in January for food poisoning. He told TMZ at the time that he had eaten "bad shrimp" in Miami.
