Cynthia Nixon and partner Christine Marinoni welcome baby
Cynthia Nixon, who plays Miranda on "Sex and the City," and her partner Christine Marinoni recently welcomed their first child together - a baby boy.
Marinoni, 43, gave birth to Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni, on Monday, People magazine reported.
She and Nixon, 44, confirmed their relationship in 2004. They announced their engagement in 2009 and Nixon has said she would like to marry Marinoni in New York after gay marriages are legalized.
The actress, who has starred in both the "Sex and the City" television series and its two films, has two children, Samantha, 14, and Charles, 8, with ex-boyfriend Danny Mozes, an English teacher. The two split in 2003.
