Courteney Cox talks David Arquette, divorce: 'He's my best friend'
Courteney Cox seemingly holds no hard feelings toward estranged husband David Arquette.
Cox and Arquette announced in October 2010 that they had agreed to a trial separation. The couple met on the set of the 1996 horror film "Scream." Arquette, 41, and Cox, 48, married in June 1999 and have a daughter named Coco.
"I appreciate David more now than I ever did. I mean ... it's hard. I don't recommend divorce in general, but, you know, he is my best friend and we've both grown and changed."
In January 2012, Cox told People magazine that Arquette was her "favorite person in the world," and that he was her "best friend, no matter what."
In February 2012, the actress claimed on Howard Stern's radio show that her love life hasn't been as action packed as her character Jules Cobb on the hit series "Cougar Town."
"I've not had a man since David," Cox told the shock jock, after telling him that she has maintained the vow of abstinence she made the last time she was on the show.
Cox's hit TBS show, "Cougar Town," is set to return for season 4 on January 8, and the actress promises fans that the upcoming season will feature lots of cleavage.
"You will not see one scene where I don't show my boobs," Cox said in a panel at the Television Critics Association according to Entertainment Weekly.
The show ended its third season with Jules (Cox) and Grayson (Josh Hopkins) deciding to run to Napa to elope to escape the madness and chaos of Jules' eccentric friends. However, the cul-de-sac crew finds out, and decides to come for the ride. Along the way, there's a change of plans, and Jules and Grayson get married in a moving wedding ceremony on the beach. At the beginning of the season finale episode, the words "I hope this is not the series finale" flashed on the screen.
The fourth season of the comedy series is set to air on January 8 on TBS.
