Clint Eastwood attends daughter Alison's wedding, guests dine on elk
Alison Eastwood, daughter of actor and director Clint Eastwood, tied the knot with sculptor Stacy Poitras over the weekend in an intimate ceremony in Calabasas, California.
Alison, a 40-year-old director and actress who currently has a role on the television show "Animal Intervention," said her vows in a white, 1930s-inspired dress designed by Les Habitudes, according to People magazine.
Guests included her mother, Maggie, and other members of the Eastwood clan, including her brothers Scott and Kyle, her sister Kathryn, and her father's wife, Dina Eastwood.
Poitras' brothers, named Bobby, Matt and Mark, were also among the guests of the joyous occasion.
"We are thrilled to be surrounded by our family for this very special day and appreciate their love and support as we begin our married life together," the couple told People in an exclusive statement.
After the ceremony, guests feasted on elk and salmon, as well as a vegetarian option prepared especially for the bride.
The couple announced their engagement in December 2012 following a two year courtship that began with a horse ride to Poitras' California studio. Poitras, one of the nation's prominent chainsaw artists, creates works of art from wooden blocks on CMT's reality TV show "Chainsaw Gang."
