Chuck Norris to be made Texas Ranger for real
Chuck Norris, the star of the action series "Walker, Texas Ranger" who has become a pop culture icon for toughness, is set to become an actual Texas Ranger.
Texas Governor Rick Perry will on Thursday declare the 70-year-old actor and martial arts star, as well as his brother Aaron, a 59-year-old stunt coordinator and producer, to be honorary members of the law enforcement group at a Texas Rangers office in Dallas, the Associated Press said.
Norris has inspired online lists of fan-written "facts" - such as, "There are only two things that can cut diamonds: Other diamonds, and Chuck Norris" - as well as numerous late-night talk show jokes made mostly by Conan O'Brien. He appeared earlier this year in a series of Christmas-themed ads for wireless service provider T-Mobile in the Czech Republic. Check some of them out below.
