Congratulations to Christy Roman and Brendan Rooney!

The former star of the Disney Channel original series "Even Stevens" wed her longtime boyfriend, Brendan Rooney, in Alberta, Canada on Dec. 31, the couple confirmed to People magazine.

The couple exchanged their vows in front of 50 guests at the Fairmont Banff Spring, where Romano's sister Jennifer served as the maid of honor and Rooney's brother Ryan served as the best man. The bride wore a Lazaro gown while the grown wore a Hugo Boss tuxedo.

"I went there when I was performing 'The Sound of Music' in Calgary with Marie Osmond," Romano said to People magazine about the location of her nuptials. "It was such a magical feeling that stayed with me, so I wanted to recapture that on my wedding day."

Romano, 30, and Rooney, 29, met while the two were students at Columbia University in February 2011, according to People magazine, which quoted the actress as saying: "I was the assistant director on an on-campus documentary about veterans. Brendan was the president of the Military Veterans at Columbia and we met while we were interviewing him."

Romano starred on the Disney Channel original series "Even Stevens," alongside actor Shia LaBeouf, from 2000 to 2003 as type-A middle sibling Ren Stevens. She also voiced the role of Kim Possible on the animated series by the same name on the network from 2002 to 2007. In addition to other roles, she appeared in the Disney Channel original movie "Cadet Kelly" alongside Hilary Duff.
