Christina Applegate and fiancé welcome baby girl
Christina Applegate and her fiancé, musician Martyn LeNoble, are the proud parents of a baby girl, reports the Associated Press.
The girl, named Sadie Grace LeNoble, was born on January 27 in Los Angeles. "Mother and daughter are doing great," Applegate's spokesperson said in a statement.
The 39-year-old "Samantha Who?" and "Married...With Children" star and 41-year-old Dutch musician Martyn LeNoble became engaged last year on February 14. The two were dating for two years prior to the engagement. Applegate announced her pregnancy in July.
Applegate underwent a double mastectomy in 2008 after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has since recovered. Applegate was married to actor Johnathon Schaech for six years and the two divorced in 2007. They had no children.
Back in July, Applegate told OnTheRedCarpet.com at the premiere of "Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore," a film where she voiced a cat named Catherine, that she did the film because she "really wanted to do something that I could let the kids in my life see." The actress added, "I can't really show them anything that I'm in because it's all a little bit more adult. It was nice to do this and "Alvin" and be able to share this with all the children in my life and now, my own child, get to share that with my own child."
Applegate voiced a chipmunk named Brittany in the 2009 film "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel."
