Christina Aguilera gave a unique performance of "Your Body" on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" recently.
"The Voice" coach was backed by Fallon's house band The Roots and the band played on instruments made out of office supplies like rubber bands, tissue boxes, scissors, tape and a computer keyboard. Fallon joined in on the fun as well using an iPhone to play notes from the song and even back up dancing for Aguilera. Aguilera also played along using a stapler and, of course, singing to her track. The performance can be seen below.
Aguilera is promoting the release of her seventh studio album "Lotus" on November 9. "Your Body" is the first single of the album and it went on sale on September 17. The music video shows Aguilera rocking a lot of pink wigs, leopard print, corsets and micro-mini skirts, while meeting and murdering a slew of handsome male companions.
The singer was one of several celebrities who performed and appeared on "Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together," a benefit concert held on November 2 to raise money for victims of Hurricane Sandy which hit Northeast states New Jersey and New York.
Aguilera also showed off a new hairstyle with strawberry highlights that she had done to kick off the live episode of "The Voice."
"Christina really wanted to start the live shows with a bang so I added some strawberry highlights to red red tipped hair," Aguilera's hairstylist Mark Townsend wrote on her official website.
It was announced on September 17 that Aguilera and Green would be taking time off from"The Voice" in its upcoming fourth season in 2013, during which she plans to tour to promote her new record. Shakira and Usher will take the pair's spots, alongside Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. The third season of the reality singing competition premiered on September 10.
