Chris Jericho says 'Dancing With The Stars' is 'a dog fight'
Professional wrestler Chris Jericho shocked judges and viewers of "Dancing With The Stars" when he proved someone with brute strength can be as graceful on the ballroom floor as any pro.
Spoiler Alert! However, after a week outing on the dance floor with the Tango, Chris Jericho and his partner Cheryl Burke were sent home on "Dancing With The Stars: The Results Show" on Tuesday.
"I was hoping just to be able to stay for two or three weeks, I really was, because I'd never done this before," he told OnTheRedCarpet.com after the show. "I think we're just as good as anybody in this competition and we could have gone all the way. Next week, whoever goes home, it's going to be the same thing because everybody's so even. "
He added, "It's a dogfight to see who ends up at the top and who ends up at the bottom and it's so important now, at this stage of the game, to be your best every night."
"This is my 11th season," Burke said. He's definitely opened up my eyes to where I really am appreciating where I am. I'm in a good place right now and even if I win or not win, it doesn't matter. This whole experience has changed my life and he's really opened my eyes and told me that -- to really enjoy what you're doing."
So now that he's out, who does Jericho think has a shot at making it to the finals? "I think that Hines [Ward] has never had a bad week and I think that Chelsea [Kane] has never had a bad week," Jericho said. "So to me, those are the two that deserve to be in the top two."
