Chris Brown Tweets domestic violence course diploma
Singer Chris Brown might be able to finally close a dark chapter in his life.
The singer Tweeted a photo of a diploma from a domestic violence course and said "I'm done with class". He was ordered by the courts to receive domestic violence courses for a year after he pleaded guilty to felony assault for attacking then-girlfriend Rihanna in February 2009. He was also sentenced to five years of probation and six months of community service.
Brown was also praised by L.A. Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg during a hearing in November. According to E! News, Schnegg told the singer, "Out of thousands of probationers, no one has done a better or more consistent job than you have, and I really want to commend you for taking responsibility and for actually working diligently to complete all the things the court has required of you."
Last month Rhianna said on her Twitter page that she found questions about the incident, "annoying".
She added, "I get it, they wanna raise awareness to young girls! But it ends up just makin me look bitter, pitiful, spiteful and angry!"
Brown's career has bounced back from the event. The singer was nominated for three Grammy Awards, including Best Contemporary R&B Album, for his "Graffiti" album.
