Despite having a very public fight with "Community" showrunner Dan Harmon, Chevy Chase will return to Greendale Community College for another season.

The NBC comedy series will see the return of all actors, but not the return of Harmon, who told fans that he had been unceremoniously fired in May.

Deadline confirmed on June 27 that the entire cast would return for season four, which is slated to premiere on October 19.

NBC renewed "Community" for a 13-episode fourth season, the network confirmed to OnTheRedCarpet.com on May 11. Harmon was replaced by "Just Shoot Me!" and "Happy Endings" alumni David Guarascio and Moses Port.

The show stars Joel McHale, who also hosts "The Soup," as Jeff Winger, a former lawyer who goes to Greendale Community College to get his bachelor's degree after it is discovered he lied about having one. Once there, he unwillingly becomes part of a study group that includes Donald Glover, Allison Brie, Danny Pudi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Gillian Jacobs and Chevy Chase. Jim Rash plays the school's flamboyant Dean.

"Community" made headlines over Chase's feud with Harmon. The comedy veteran left Harmon a profanity-laden voice mail message, which made its way onto the web.

According to multiple sources, Chase walked off the set in March, during one of his scenes which was intended to wrap up the season finale. Then during the season wrap party, Harmon slammed the actor in front of his wife and daughter and led the crew in chanting "[Expletive] Chevy."

At the time, Chase told the Huffington Post of the show, "I probably won't be around that much longer, frankly... I have creative issues with this show. I always have."

The veteran actor, who is best known for his roles in the National Lampoons films and on "Saturday Night Live," did admit that his co-stars have become his family.
