Charlie Sheen's 'Two and a Half Men' matriarch says he's back on set Tuesday
Holland Taylor, who plays Charlie Sheen's mother on "Two and a Half Men" says that they are expecting Sheen back at work next Tuesday.
Taylor talked to OnTheRedCarpet.com at Tuesday's Costume Designers Guild Awards about how her "Two and a Half Men" character is influenced by her wardrobe and how she has "all good wishes" for the cast.
"We go back to work next week, we're very happy. I wish I could share something with you, I don't know anything," Taylor told OnTheRedCarpet.com. "I think Charlie comes Tuesday, Charlie usually reports on the Tuesday. Monday is for the table read and some practical things are worked out. He usually comes on Tuesday."
Sheen did an interview with radio host Dan Patrick earlier in the month and said that he has "never been drunk, never been high on the set once. But would show up having not slept much."
Sheen's spokesperson has claimed that the actor is being treated at home for his drug and alcohol addictions. Production of CBS' "Two and a Half Men" was placed on a one-month hiatus while the actor receives help.
Sheen's manager confirmed that the actor would be back on set on Tuesday, after online sources claimed the actor had gone on a tropical vacation with his estranged wife Brooke Mueller, his live-in porn-star girlfriend and a third woman.
"I don't know about that, but if he did go on vacation, he will be back for work on Tuesday," Mark Burg told Show Tracker..
Sheen's father, Martin Sheen spoke out publicly about his son's addiction on Tuesday, for the first time since Sheen began at-home rehab.
"He's an extraordinary man," Martin Sheen said to UK's Sky News. "If he had cancer, how would we treat him? This disease of addiction is a form of cancer. And you have to have an equal measure of concern and love and lift them up. And so that's what we do for him."
During the hiatus, repeat episodes of "Two and a Half Men" have filled the hit CBS show's time slot and Monday's episode earned 11.5 million viewers.
A recent poll said that Sheen's personal woes have not affected his public image.
