Charlie Sheen sets up Twitter account and sends out first Tweet
Charlie Sheen has officially joined the Twitterverse.
The actor, who has been on a media tour recently, sent out his first Tweet on Tuesday saying, "Winning..! Choose your Vice..." and included a link to a photo of himself and a blonde woman holding a bottle of chocolate milk and small container of juice.
Sheen's Twitter account carries the verified symbol that the social networking site uses to discern fake accounts from the real celebrities and public figures that use the service. He also describes himself as an "unemployed winner" on the account.
The "Two and a Half Men" actor recently revealed the identities of his live in "goddesses" during an interview with the "Today Show" on Tuesday, which can be seen below. Natalie Kenly, who is described as a model, and Bree Olson, a porn actress who is called by her real name, Rachel Oberlin, in the segment.
"These women don't judge me," the actor said. "They don't lead with opinion. They don't lead with their own needs all the time. They're honest enough to tell me, 'Hey, look, you -- you know, park your nonsense. You gotta help me solve this.' And we solve it."
On Tuesday Piers Morgan, who interviewed Sheen on his CNN show "Piers Morgan Tonight" on Monday, wrote on Twitter, "I told @charliesheen to join Twitter during commercial break last night. he chuckled and said: 'That could be fun, maybe I will...'"
At the time of this writing, Sheen has amassed over 228,400 followers in a short period of time and is following only eight other people on Twitter including Piers Morgan, Howard Stern, Alyssa Milano and his "goddess" Olson.
