Hollywood heartthrob Channing Tatum of "Magic Mike" fame may get to showcase his dancing skills again on the big screen and this time, he may sing as well.
He and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who are both 32, have been tapped to star in a new film adaptation of "Guys and Dolls," according to a recent Deadline report. The first musical movie, based on a Broadway musical, was released in 1955 and starred Frank Sinatra and Marlon Brando as smooth-talking, New York City gamblers and ladies' men.
Daniel Radcliffe, Charlize Theron, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Channing Tatum are all set to make special appearances at the 2013 Oscars ceremony on February 24.
"We are quite excited to have Charlize, Chan, Joe and Dan join us on the show," telecast producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron said in a statement. "We are happy to feature them as special guests in our production."
Channing Tatum and his wife, actress Jenna Dewan-Tatum, are expecting their first child.
A spokesperson for the actor confirmed the news to ABCNews.com on December 17. In a statement to People magazine spokespeople for the couple said they "are pleased to announce that they are expecting the birth of their first child next year."
Channing Tatum is taking a break from acting - but don't worry, it's temporary.
Tatum, 32, recently talked about his acting future in an interview with Entertainment Weekly on December 4. The "Magic Mike" actor revealed that while he's going to be taking a break from on-screen roles, it's temporary, and only to focus his behind-the-scenes career.
Channing Tatum, who played a stripper in this past summer's hit film "Magic Mike" and who also used to be an exotic dancer in real life, has been named the "Sexiest Man Alive" for 2012 by People magazine.

Despite the trailers and clips showing scantily clad men ripping their shirts off in front of hordes of screaming women, "Magic Mike" stars Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey say the film is really a "dude movie."
"It's a dude movie. Just because we got our shirts off doesn't mean it's a female movie," Tatum said. "It's about guys being guys."
Channing Tatum admits he does not remember much about his days as a stripper in Florida, which serve as the inspiration to "Magic Mike."
"Somehow we're making a movie of this weird, gray area of my life," Tatum told OnTheRedCarpet.com host Rachel Smith at the film's premiere on June 24. "It was foggy. It's a foggy time when you're 18 and 19 years of age in Florida."
