Chad Ochocinco ready to change last name back to Johnson
Chad Ochocinco, an NFL player who competed on "Dancing With the Stars" in 2010, says he plans to change his last name back to Johnson.
The 33-year-old, the Cincinnati Bengals' player No. 85, had in 2006 begun to adopt the nickname, which means "eight" and "five" in Spanish. He changed his last name to Ochocinco about two years ago so it could be written on his football uniform.
"I'm changing my name back to Johnson," Ochocinco said on ESPN's "NFL Live" recently. "I don't have a choice right now. I've done enough with the Ocho thing. It was fun."
Ochocinco was a "Dancing With the Stars" contestant during the 10th season in the spring of 2010. He and partner Cheryl Burke placed fourth. He also starred last year in his own VH1 reality dating show, "Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch."
