Model and actress Angie Everhart, known for roles in films such as "Last Action Hero," is battling thyroid cancer.

The 43-year-old red-headed star, who is also a single mother of a 3-year-old son, plans to undergo surgery on Tuesday, May 14, her rep confirmed to OTRC.com.

Lil Wayne is "fine," according to a Tweet that was posted on his official Twitter account after reports claimed that the rapper suffered another seizure.

On Wednesday, May 1, TMZ reported that the 30-year-old rapper was hospitalized in Los Angeles on Tuesday night after he suffered a seizure. According to the report, he was later released Wednesday morning.

WWE star and actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has undergone emergency hernia surgery, weeks after he was injured in a WrestleMania 29 match against John Cena.

Johnson, 40, had the procedure done on Monday, April 22, and was forced to miss the Los Angeles premiere of "Pain & Gain," the new action comedy film he stars in with Mark Wahlberg. He attended its Miami premiere on April 11 (pictured above, right).

The teenager was recently asked by E!, which airs her family's hit reality shows, if she would consider modeling for the lingerie brand in the future. The company has made stars out of the likes of Heidi Klum, who went on to become host of "Project Runway" and Miranda Kerr, who was recently rumored to have left, but will still walk the runway at the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion show this year.

Lil Wayne has opened up about the status of his health following a recent scare that landed him in the hospital -- he says he has epilepsy and was treated at a medical center after suffering three seizures in a row.

On March 15, reps for the 30-year-old rapper and his record label said he had had one and was "doing well," following a TMZ report that said he was in critical condition in a medical center's ICU, which had spurred "#PrayForWeezy" to trend on Twitter. His friends also Tweeted that Lil Wayne was doing well, while a Tweet saying "I'm good" was later posted on his Twitter page.

Kendall, who stars in Kardashian's E! reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and also works as a model, made her comments to Harper's Bazaar Arabia in an interview published as part of an April 2013 cover story.

Clive Mantle, who played Greatjon Umber on the HBO series "Game Of Thrones," recently underwent surgery after a man bit part of his ear off in an attack at a hotel in his native England.

The suspected assailant is 32 and has been charged with wounding with intent. He is due to appear in court next month.

The 44-year-old singer of the trio Wilson Phillips, who recently appeared on the Food Network reality show "Rachael Vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-off," announced the news on Twitter on March 13 and said she is using acupuncture to treat her ailment.

Valerie Harper recently opened up to OTRC.com about her cancer diagnosis, explaining that she's feeling ready to live.

The 73-year-old was diagnosed with a rare condition called leptomeningeal carcinomatosis, which occurs when cancer cells spread into the fluid-filled membrane surrounding the brain. She received the diagnosis on Jan. 15 and revealed the news earlier this month. She was told she has as little as three months to live.
