Jonathan Kirby, the 56-year-old man charged with breaking into LL Cool J's home, pleaded not guilty to first-degree burglary with a person present at a Los Angeles court on Tuesday, August 28.
Kirby, who authorities say is a transient, was hospitalized with a broken nose, jaw and ribs after the "NCIS: Los Angeles" actor and hip hop star confronted and overpowered him inside his house last Wednesday. He was given the felony charge the following day and faces a maximum sentence of 38 years to life in prison if convicted, prosecutors say.
