Michael Douglas told the press at the Berlin premiere of "Behind the Candelabra" on Monday, Sept. 2, that things between himself and his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, are "just fine."
When asked a question about his marriage by a member of the press at the premiere, Douglas replied, according to The Associated Press, "I have a crisis at home? No, I think the press has a crisis. We, we are fine. My wife and I are, are fine. We take a temporary separation, but the press, it gives you stuff to write about."

The two have separated temporarily, the actress' rep says, following reports by outlets such as People magazine and the tabloid The National Enquirer, adding that the celebrity couple intends to try to salvage their 12-year marriage. No legal papers have been filed.
