Carson Kressley says glue on beard and hug from Cher made his 'life complete'
Carson Kressley talks about his glue on beard for "Dancing With The Stars" round four, and how the hug he received from Cher made his "life complete."
The 41-year-old television host and fashion expert, and partner Anna Trebunskaya, 30, received 20 out of 30 from the judges for their "Pirates of the Caribbean" inspired Viennese Waltz in week four of ABC's hit celebrity ballroom dancing series on Monday (read recap). The pair ended with the lowest score of the entire night.
"This is a glue-on beard - I was trying to get into character, I've never had facial hair before," Kressley told OnTheRedCarpet.com after the show. "And I got a hug from Cher, my life is basically complete. I have a smoky Kardashian eye - what else do you need to live for?"
Kressley went on to talk about their elaborate routine.
"We had such a great inspiration," Kressley added. "It was this big, grand swash buckling song, and we really wanted to make it fun and kind of convey the spirit of the film. When people are on their feet cheering at the end of the dance - when I uncurled my bedazzled pirate flag - I think people liked it."
Contestant Ricki Lake, known for her work as a talk show host and actress, and professional partner, two-time champion Derek Hough, earned the top score of 29 out of 30 for their Tango. The pair also received the first perfect 10 of the season by two of the three the judges.
The 9 remaining pairs return on Tuesday, October 11 for an elimination episode where the fourth couple is expected to be sent packing.
