Carrie Underwood: No feud with Taylor Swift (Video, Poll)
Carrie Underwood wants to state for the record that there is no feud between her and fellow country and pop star Taylor Swift.
Underwood, 29, was asked about the issue, recently raised in an Us Weekly magazine report, on "CBS This Morning."
"Is there a feud between you and Taylor Swift?" host Gayle King asked.
"No," Underwood replied. "Not that I know of, at least."
The singer said she even has a favorite Swift song -- "I Knew You Wire Trouble," which was released in October and is featured on her fourth studio album, "Red," which has a distinctively more pop sound than her previous country releases.
"Oh my Gosh. I really like 'I Knew You Were Trouble,' which is one of her newer ones. It sounded a lot different from her. I liked the branching out, trying some different sounds."
Swift, 23, has not commented. Underwood and Swift have appeared together at public events in the past.
They were captured on camera hugging in the audience at the 2010 Academy of Country Music Awards after Underwood was announced as the Entertainer of the Year for the second year in a row. The two posed for photos together backstage at the award show the previous year.
At the 2007 CMT Awards, Swift presented Underwood and Roman White the award for Video Director of the Year for the singer's "Before He Cheats" music video, while Underwood presented Swift with the award for Breakthrough Video of the Year for her own clip for the song "Tim McGraw." The two hugged on stage.
Also in 2007, Underwood presented Swift with the Horizon Award at the 41st Annual Country Music Association Awards in Nashville, Tennessee. (Pictured above)
The two both attended the 2013 Grammy Awards on Sunday but were not seen together on the red carpet. (Pictured above)
Underwood arrived in a black embroidered black strapless Roberto Cavalli gown and a $31 million Johnathon Arndt diamond necklace (see photos) and later performed on stage in a different outfit -- a LED ivory Theia LED dress that had several images projected onto it.
Swift wore an ivory J. Mendel Spring 2013 Grecian gown with silver straps and silver Jimmy Choo "Lance" sandals.
