Carrie Fisher, who played Princess Leia in the "Star Wars" films, is the newest spokesperson for weight loss company Jenny Craig.
"I'm fat," the 54-year-old actress, told People magazine. "All the clothes in my closet belong to another chick. They have to make a new alphabet for my bra size."
Fisher, who is about 5 foot 1 inches, weighed about 105 pounds when she appeared in the first three "Star Wars" films in the 1970s and 1980s. She famously donned a "slave" bikini costume in the movie "Return of the Jedi. Fisher was about 180 pounds at her heaviest, People said.
"The world is a hostile place for a fat person," Fisher says in a video posted on the Jenny Craig website. "I have to get you to overcome how I look. There is a very thin person in here trying to get out."
"I've been eating a lot of bacon since my father's passing," Fisher added on her Twitter page. "It must be my unique way of grieving."
The actress' father, singer Eddie Fisher, died in September 2010. Since she joined Jenny Craig in November, Fisher has lost 12 lbs, People said.
