Carly Rae Jepsen dating musician Matthew Koma, report says
"Call Me Maybe" singer Carly Rae Jepsen has reportedly been dating fellow musician Matthew Koma for over a year.
Jepsen has previously confirmed that she has been in a relationship for over a year, but had not reveled her boyfriend's identity. The couple has been spotted holding hands recently and were seen dining with Jepsen's parents at the Stanton Social in New York City.
"He introduced her as his girlfriend," a source told People magazine. "He seemed really excited about it, and she was smiling from ear to ear by his side during the introduction. He seems like a really nice and personable guy."
The Canadian singer told People in May, "He makes me laugh every day and not always on purpose, but he's my guy... He's been really amazing and very supportive."
Koma recently released his debut EP, "Parachute" and has been touring with his Cherrytree Records label mates LMFAO and Far East Movement. The 25-year-old musician hails from Seaford, New York.
Jepsen, who rose to fame following the release of her single "Call Me Maybe," made headlines in July when nude photos, allegedly hacked from her computer, prompted a police investigation.
The 26-year-old singer recently denied that she had appeared in a sex tape which was also being shopped around on the internet, writing on Twitter on July 23, "Crazy morning. Discovered that someone put up a sex tape claiming to be me. Ridiculous. Obviously not me."
Jepsen was also named in another set of nude photos, which TMZ later identified as being model Destiny Benedict.
Meanwhile, Jepsen took home two Teen Choice Awards on Sunday, July 22 for Choice Summer Song and Choice Music: Breakout Artist. She also debuted the music video for "Good Time," her collaboration with electronica musical project Owl City.
