Nude photos, allegedly hacked from singer Carly Rae Jepsen's computer, have prompted a police investigation.

The Canadian singer, who rose to fame following the release of her single "Call Me Maybe," reported the crime to the Vancouver Police Department in March, after her reps were alerted to the fact that nude photos were being shopped around to media outlets.

The Vancouver Police Department told TMZ that they are investigating "theft of electronic property belonging to Jepsen" and criminal harassment.

"Our investigation began in mid-March," a Vancouver PD spokesperson told E! News. "One suspect, an adult male, has been identified but, at this time, he has not been arrested or charged as the investigation continues."

Jepsen's rep had no immediate comment on the reports of nude photos.

The 26-year-old singer recently denied that she had appeared in a sex tape which was also being shopped around on the internet, writing on Twitter on July 23, "Crazy morning. Discovered that someone put up a sex tape claiming to be me. Ridiculous. Obviously not me."

Jepsen was also named in another set of nude photos, which TMZ later identified as being model Destiny Benedict.

Meanwhile, Jepsen took home two Teen Choice Awards on Sunday, July 22 for Choice Summer Song and Choice Music: Breakout Artist. She also debuted the music video for "Good Time," her collaboration with electronica musical project Owl City.
