Carey Mulligan dating Mumford and Sons front man, report says
Carey Mulligan, who starred in "An Education" and broke up with actor Shia LaBeouf in October, has moved on to Marcus Mumford, the lead singer for Grammy-nominated folk band Mumford & Sons, People magazine reports.
Mulligan, 24, has been spotted with the fellow Brit at Mumford's homes in London and Buckinghamshire, England. The two also reportedly spent last week in the Orkney Islands in Scotland.
In February, Mulligan went to one of Mumford's shows at St. Magnus Cathedral in the U.K. where they were reportedly getting comfortable.
An onlooker told People, "They were kissing and cuddling in public... They were clearly very fond of each other. They were very, very affectionate to one another."
Mumford & Sons received two Grammy nominations in 2010, for Best New Artist and Best Rock Song for "Little Lion Man." Mumford, 25, was previously linked to female folk musician Laura Marling, who was part of the original line-up of indie folk band Noah and the Whale.
Mulligan will appear opposite Ryan Gosling in "Drive," which is slated for release on September 16, 2011. She has also signed on to star as Daisy Buchanan in "The Great Gatsby" opposite Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire, who will play Jay Gatsby and Nick Carraway, respectively.
Mulligan's rep had no immediate comment on the report.
