People magazine quoted sources close to the pair as saying the two called it quits "some time ago.

Mulligan, a 25-year-old British actress known for her pixie cut and 2010 Oscar nomination for An Education, is currently filming the independent movie Drive with The Notebook's Ryan Gosling.

LaBeouf, 24, recently made headlines when a YouTube video of him throwing a cup of coffee into the back of a celebrity photographer went viral. LaBeouf had launched the java attack after the man began snapping photos of him at an outdoor cafe in Washington, D.C., where he was filming several scenes for Transformers 3.
