Cameron Diaz to star with Colin Firth in 'Gambit'

Cameron Diaz reportedly is set to star alongside Colin Firth in the upcoming film, "Gambit," a remake of a 1966 British crime movie.

Shooting for the film will begin in May in London. In the Michael Hoffman-directed film, Firth plays an art curator who tries to con a rich collector into buying a fake painting, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Diaz's character is recruited in the scheme.

Michael Caine and Shirley MacLaine starred in the original movie.

Firth is a leading contender for an Oscar for his lead role in "The King's Speech." Diaz currently stars in the film "The Green Hornet."
