Bryan Adams, Alicia Grimaldi welcome baby daughter, Mirabella Bunny

Bryan Adams and his personal assistant Alicia Grimaldi recently welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Mirabella Bunny.

"Thanks for the thoughts and wishes," Adams Tweeted late on Thursday, May 5.

The 51-year-old rock singer, known for songs such as "Summer of 69," said the baby was born on April 22 and "arrived like all good Easter bunnies on Easter Friday," according to People magazine.

Adams announced his girlfriend's pregnancy in March, saying on his Twitter page: "Alicia Grimaldi and I are expecting a baby. She helped me start my foundation years ago and it looks like she'll be running the family now."

Grimaldi helped to set up Adams' charity, the Bryan Adams Foundation, in 2004.

Also in March, Adams was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (see video). He plans to tour Europe in June, starting in Holland (get tickets).
