She walked along and also appeared alongside Swanepoel, who donned a white and silver bra and panties set and Victoria's Secret's signature angel wings covered in purple flowers.
Rihanna performed in a strapless black gown that showed plenty of cleavage and contained a high thigh high split that showed off her black garter and stocking, blace lace gloves and pearl-encrusted sunglasses and choker.
Among the lingerie-based costumes seen at the event - a Halloween witch, a patriotic outfit with an American flag, a Native American, a tattoo model and a motorcycle rider - complete with handlebars, bring to mind a scene from George Michael's 1992 music video "Too Funky," which featured top supermodels.

Bruno Mars says he would be happy to act on "Saturday Night Live" again, weeks after his first guest hosting gig, during which he dressed up as a teenage girl.
"Whatever 'SNL' wants from me, they can always call me," the 27-year-old Grammy-winning singer told the Associated Press. "I don't know who told them I can act or anything 'cause I can't. I don't know what they saw. (But) whatever they need from me, they can get."

Bruno Mars was cleared of a felony cocaine possession charge on Wednesday in Las Vegas, according to the Associated Press.
The singer, whose real name is Peter Hernandez, was arrested in September 2010 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino after a bathroom attendant noticed a man taking a long time in a stall with a bag of a white, powdered substance just before 2 a.m., and summoned security.

Bruno Mars gets candid about his cocaine arrest and conviction in a new interview. The singer pled guilty to felony cocaine possession charges back in January.
In order to avoid jail time he took a plea deal worked out with Las Vegas prosecutors. Mars paid a $2,000 fine, in addition to serving probation and 200 hours of community service. If he completes the terms of his sentence and stays out of trouble for a year, the felony cocaine possession charge against him will be dismissed, authorities said.
