Bruno Mars to perform at Super Bowl halftime show (Confirmed)
R&B singer Bruno Mars will be singing at the halftime show of the Super Bowl, the NFL has confirmed.
The official announcement was made on Sunday, Sept. 8, following a report by the Associated Press. The 27-year-old singer is the headlining performer of Super Bowl XLVII, which is set for Feb. 2 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
More than 100 million viewers tune in to watch the yearly event.
Recent Super Bowl halftime performers include Beyonce, Madonna, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Prince U2, Paul McCartney, The Who and The Rolling Stones.
The Grammy-Award winning singer has had numerous No. 1 solo hits including "When I Was Your Man," "Just the Way You Are" and "Grenade." Mars was also featured on B.o.B's chart-topping single "Nothin' on You."
